Love them, too ... but nothing beats a "juice running down your arm" tomato sandwich ... and that's hard to get with green tomatoes, fried or not!

I have one sitting on the counter just waiting for me to make some toast and fry some bacon so it can get turned into a BLT.

i picked up a HUGE Slushie at Royal Farms on the way back from delivering chickies. They're only a Dollar, right now - any size. Nothing takes down the heat like draining a huge cup of artificially flavored, frozen sugar water. LOVE the stuff!

I can't seem to gather enough green beans to make anything with. They seem to just disappear somewhere between the garden and the back door.

I'm like that with sugar snaps, really bad, but romas are simply delectable lightly steamed or quickly sauteed. And my, ...erm, GI disposition appreciates a little cooking before comsuming.

Aren't those extinct? With the exception of DS and three of my four nephews, I don't think they come in that "flavor," anymore. Sometimes I feel like Methuselah ... still looking ...
