There is a lot less crowing going on in my back yard now.

This is why I need to off some because they are crowing so much and also starting to be mean. It’s a little early (6 weeks) but I hope there will still be meat on them.

Red Devons! Little, without the problems of minis.

My Eden is pretty small... but she was blizzard born & nearly died--lost her ear-tips and half the length of her tail. Soooo, I'm not sure her smaller size is genetic. None of them approach the size of the Angus cows we get free-ranging around our place in summer, though, let alone the Angus bulls.

(Pssst...hardcore carnivores and carnivore doctors who purport that the omega 3 vs 6 profile is better. It is but such a negligible amount.) I just eat a chunk of salmon. Goodness forbid if it's tame, fed salmon because THEIR omega 3/6 profile is changed by feeding as well.

You have to be really flush to eat like that. Or grow it yourself, of course.
