that’s kinda my fear....should’ve gotten them going way earlier but figured maybe we can just pick them smaller??If I waited this late to start pumpkins, I would never get anything from them.

She better spill the beans today. On second thought, I don’t think the Dawg can afford our services, she’s already in debt to someone else.
Pumpkins don't work like that for me. They still need the time to turn ripe. Other than as poultry food, I don't know a use for green pumpkins.that’s kinda my fear....should’ve gotten them going way earlier but figured maybe we can just pick them smaller??
We made 12 jars of Bread and Butter Pickled Cukes just the other day! Crispy and Scrumptious!i pulled first jar of pickled cucumbers and jalapeños out of the walk-in yesterday for a taste test! didn’t get to them last night so maybe try with breakfast this morning!
Maybe she got behind with her car payments to her father. She better spill the beans today.
I tried eggplant this year (first time at this place) and within 48 hours of planting, my little babies got gobbled up by some bug that ignored every other thing in the garden. Sheesh.I quit growing zucchini a long time ago. Even limiting the zucchini to one hill, I still ended up having to give away at least a bushel at a time.
I switched to Nadia eggplant. When breaded and fried, I can't taste the difference between it and fried zucchini. Black Beauty eggplant is a different story including the texture.
Car Payments to her Father!?!?!Maybe she got behind with her car payments to her father.

When I lived up north I've started them as late as mid July, but those were 90 day varieties...not 110 or 120.i cleaned out the onion bed last weekend and planning to ditch the strawberries as soon as weather permits so I can get pumpkins and turnips going.
Oooh! Zucchini! I know why I would do with that!
