Looks similar to some white trash bars I’ve been in. Yours is nicer though.

Umm...I wouldn’t say that. These people had a poop mountain because the city capped their sewer. I never got a pic of Poo Mountain before the majority of it was cleaned up. I bet the internet providers tell horror stories of it. Towns WiFi was set up in that room until they could put it on the roof. Here’s some screenshots I took. Black Beauty is the most common eggplant available. It is pretty thorny so be careful when picking. Some eggplants have a bitter taste to them if not salted and let set to draw out the bitterness. Black Beauty is that type. Nadia is not. Nadia has no bitterness to it. In my opinion, Nadia has a nicer texture than does Black Beauty. Nadia has fewer and finer thorns.

The cherry jam is out of this world good. I made the chokecherry jelly in two batches. I like the batch with added lemon better than the batch without. The yellow chokecherries seem to make a blander jelly than the black chokecherries. Eating them off of the tree, the yellow ones aren't as astringent as the black ones and when fully ripe they are also sweeter.

Unfortunately for me, making jelly or jam requires taste testing. I made the mistake of "licking" the pot clean from the cherry jam episode and ended up with way too high of blood sugar.

Sounds like me when I make fudge. You know...quality control.

Ratatouille

Soon as I get more ripe tomatoes I'll be making a lot of Ratatouille! Can't beat a dish where everything, even the garlic, comes from the garden!

We all have different taste buds. To me Black beauty was still bitter after removing the skin. I also did not care for the texture of black beauty.

As far as tastes go, I once planted arugula because of all the cooking shows saying how great it is. When it once big enough to try, I picked a few leaves and put them in my mouth. It came back out almost immediately and then I tried to find something to get that vile disgusting taste out of my mouth. I tried to pull out every arugula plant and disposed of them. Unfortunately I missed a couple and would have a wonderful mouthful of fresh lettuce or spinach ruined by the vile taste of arugula.

Finally! Someone else who thinks that stuff is nasty!

Oh, late '60s GTO. That's what the idiot kid who totaled my bike was driving. He didn't deserve that beauty.

Wasn't us ... I PROMISE! The only bike this particular Goat has ever hit was a bicycle left laying in the driveway ... but it raced a few motorbikes, for sure!
