I wouldn’t expect a rooster to kill them. Maybe be a bit rough, getting to know them, ya know what I mean, but kill? I had one accidentally kill a hen by trying to mount her, she tried to run, and I think he slammed her into the fence. Only thing I could come up with. But in my experience, unless he’s way too large for them, hens can usually put a rooster in his place.

Hmmm...I would think that a dog got in with the chickens somehow. Do you have dogs? Children? Neighbors that could do that?

Someone did something, like let the dog in with them while dad was out and now they are blaming the Rooster!

The Rooster was likely hiding during the attack....

The Rooster was likely hiding during the attack....

It seems a shame to send a rooster to freezer camp (which is where he will end up with a rep like that!) for hiding while something clobbered all of his new-found girlfriends ... and in a new place, to boot!

After all, he can't help being a little ,,, forgive me ahead of time for this one, please ... CHICKEN!
