Killing a Roo

I don't know where you live, but perhaps you could search on the forum to find other BYC members near you. There may be someone who would take this roo for their table, and spare you his aggression and the chore of dispatching him. They would also be grateful for the meat on their table.

You shouldn't try to re-home an aggressive rooster, there are many many many more roosters with better manners more deserving of a home. But it's a shame to waste the meat of a RIR, they can provide nourishment for several people.

There are sections on this forum where you could post an offer to give him away or sell him, other sections where you can try to contact folks who live in your area. I'm in West Palm Beach, FL and would be glad to put your roo in my meatbird pen.
