when cooked any bacteria will get killed anyway.
just looks weird and some religions are against eating blood... Old testament law

Thanks everyone! Feeling much better now thanks to all your comments! Going to eat them tomorrow and I'll let you know how we get on! Do you have any advice where I can read up on butchering poultry? There's lots on chickens but I couldnt find much on geese or other fowl, and interested in breaking their necks over using an axe, or at least learning other waysThey didn't bleed out properly, thus the blood pooled in the upper breast. They're still safe to eat of course. I've always hung and bleed out my birds when butchering. And I always recommend it to others.
