Kittens

Kittens can die because of flea bite anemia, and it's fine to bathe them, fast, in a flea shampoo, dry with a hair dryer, and comb them out with a flea comb. I've done ten day old kittens that way. Speed is the thing, warm water, and fast drying. The fleas must be killed, so then combing them out is necessary, because all the fleas won't be dead.
Also have seen puppies and kittens as young as ten days of age dying of hookworm infections, especially before good monthly heartworm meds for dogs. Those babies got treated for hookworms too.

I have a safeguard dog wormer i’ve used for my adult cats is this safe for babies? i don’t think they’re eating cat food yet.

I agree with bathing them in regular Dawn dish liquid and drying them thoroughly. Get a flea comb and comb especially the heads, around the ears, back of neck and the base of the tail. Have a cup of hot water or alcohol to dump any live fleas in. Treat mama with drops. That way you don't have to worry if she licks them.
I've done this a lot with 15 cats of my own.
Put a couple of drops of Dawn in your comb-dipping water. That'll take the fleas off the comb and kill them, too. If you get in the habit of combing the babies daily, the fleas will disappear ... and the kittens will be so stinkin' spoiled that you won't have any problems at all finding homes for them ... if you can bear to part with them!
Please, Please, PLEASE, make sure all four get spayed or neutered ... including Mom. As cute as kittens always are, and as easy as it can be to find homes for wonderfully spoiled babies, every kitten (or puppy) we bring into the world takes a home away from one that is already here!
