Kittens

You won't see them all the time. I'd worm her to be safe. The kittens can be wormed at 8 weeks according to their weight. I had to worm a kitten I hand raised from birth at two weeks but that's only done in an emergency.
Here's my Leona
Yep, couldn't see the worms in my dogs poo. They were to small to see

I thought maybe I should explain why I've paid for a few... The boarding stable I used to keep horses at was the dumping ground for unwanted cats, which were usually not spayed or neutered. Some of the boarders set out to get all of them spayed and neutered, but some managed to slip through the cracks. Many of these kittens and cats would become sick with fleas, worms, and respiratory disease, so a few of us saw to it that they got the veterinary care they needed.
You're a good soul!

My sister is a dairy farmer, so people are always dumping cats and kittens at her barn. What they don't realize is that kittens and lone cats dumped into a barn colony don't fare well. This is especially true if they were raised "people-friendly." If they survive the initial round or three of pecking order fights (think cock-fights, but with claws and teeth!), they follow the workers around, getting in the way and getting caught in machinery. It's cruel ... both to the cats and to the people who have to deal with the trauma of a mangled kitten.

The worst part is that, if the same stupid people who dumped those beautiful orange tabbies would have approached my sister with that same pair of kittens she later found hay-raked in her field, she would have taken them in, socialized them into the colony and/or found them homes. Instead, we nursed one badly injured, terribly sweet kitten until he died ... she TRIED to save him. The other was rescued in time, and is a happy, shoulder-riding love ... but getting there was too horrible for the words that actually fit.

Sorry for no updates! My wifi has been in and out and i’ve been trying to keep everything’s orderly in my coops in between rains. I bathe the kittens and haven’t seen any fleas but I rechecked my bottle of Frontline and it’s says don’t use on kittens under 8 weeks. I haven’t treated mama cat yet because I can’t find a definite answer on if Frontline spray can be used on nursing’s mamas. Do you think it’s safe to use?

I had a stray female cat show up at my door about a week or 2 ago and turns out she has 3 kittens but they’re covered in fleas. I don’t want to put something of them that will harm them or mama (they’re still nursing) Any suggestions? I have a Frontline spray but I dont know if it’s safe for kittens.
It says kittens right on the bottle
