Love mine too!! Mine are my kids too haha all my chickens have names

I've been holding out on naming mine until I know who is what sex. Hubby bought me a straight run for my birthday. To make matters worse 3 of the breeds he bought me are not what he was told they were. No Delawares, no Speckled Sussex, and I don't know if the Cinnamon Queens are really CQ! Doesn't matter love em all anyway.

And oh wow you have your hands full!! Haha I love ducks but I don’t think I could ever raise them. They’re sooooo messy.

I have 8 chicks coming this week.

I adore ducks! They are messy but let's face it so are horses, I spend half the day cleaning up after them so what's a few ducks?! Bailing a pool everyday is no different from bailing water buckets daily. One horse likes to soak his hay & poops IN his water bucket if I am late getting out to turn them out and feed. Peckerhead.
It looks like we will be getting more chicks this Friday & turkeys the next. Gonna have birds coming out my ears!
Come to think of it I wonder if my hubby keeps adding to the flock because I keep telling him I want a foal...wonder if he is trying to keep me so busy with birds I will forget I wanted a foal, one more to train before I get too old.

That's what I like to do as well. I have a 4 day old magpie that has already gotten the nickname 'Tude because this little one has got attitude to spare!

Doesn't matter what I get, I will just order pullets for each breed of roo I have and make new coops for them.
