Kitty and Dog Thread, Show Me What You Got, other critters welcome too

Pics
Yep, been there and tried that! We used to raise rabbits at our little farm in Florida (as well as goats and chickens). Bunnies are harder than chickens! Goats are hilarious but pretty good at letting you get a good picture.
Goats are always in my face so I have to have a fence between me and them to get a picture usually.

The black kitty in the snow was Scooter. He was my soul kitty. He passed away this past March, a couple of weeks shy of his 16th birthday, from a combination of kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, and IBD.

The two in the middle are Leo (white/orange) and Tigger (orange). Leo is 4 and Tiggs is 10.

Samantha is the voluptuous dilute tortiseshell at the bottom. I adopted her after Scoots passed away. When I adopted her, she was just under 20 lbs. she was 17.6 lbs at her latest weigh in! She is 5 years old.

Thank you! The only thing that makes it easier is knowing that I made the right choice. Each of his illnesses, when taken individually, could be potentially treated, if not cured. However, when put together, we hit brick wall after brick wall. Nothing worked without worsening one of his other illnesses. He just kept declining. And yet, he was still himself in the end somehow. In hindsight, he went at just the right time, as hard as it was to make that decision. Anyways, I ramble. Thank you again for your kind words.

I’m so sorry for your loss! What kind of dog was she? 16.5 years is very impressive, although I know that doesn’t make it easier :hugs
