And than in the middle of that kitty got caught in that leg trap, and we had no power for a few days. :barnie

Here's how kitties foot look like after she came home from the vet. She had a cartoon foot for about a week.

And wow that is one wonky looking foot!! Poor kitty. :(

The vet loved her. Said she laid in the cage on her back elevating her own foot. I really expected her to lose her foot, but it didn't phase her much. She came home and was right back in the rafters catching birds. She's one cool kitty.

We have two cats. This is Millie. We got her two years ago from the local animal shelter. She was 10 weeks old when we got her, and strictly indoors. As she got older, she kept sneaking out the door, so now she is indoor/outdoor.

Fun fact about Millie. My daughter's science fair project was seeing if cats can be trained like dogs. Millie now sits on command, and lays down on command.
Our other cat is Gunner. He is older. We got him from the animal shelter when we lived in Colorado. He traveled across the country with us. He started out indoors, but would bolt out the door every chance he got, so he is mostly outdoors now. He comes around twice a day to get food and be petted. Here he is with Millie.

They are gorgeous. Cats are really smart. Usually they train their people. :)

Actually, I've found that they enjoy each other's company so much they seem happier overall than just having a single. After having my 3 at the same time and seeing how they enjoy each other, I'll never go back to just having a single cat.
I agree 100%!! We have three now and am talking hubs into a fourth :th... cats are easy to talk him into as he loves them just as much!:D
But three has usually been my limit so we’ll see..

Yeah, I’m a little worried about it because of her age, but she is very very social and friendly and she’s very non combative. Prefers to run. Only fights as a last resort and even then won’t use her claws unless you don’t back off. Even at the vet’s they all say she’s the best behaved cat they’ve ever seen LOL Ashe let’s them do whatever they want to her. She also lets the groomers shave her the 2 times I’ve gotten her shaved with, from what I hear, no fight, just minimal noise. She even lets me bathe her! Lol done that 2 or 3 times too. She does go spread eagle/splay her legs as well as try to climb out though haha but never attacks me. Even when I brush her, she fights minimally and will only try to claw or nip if I don’t let her go but usually I do when she starts making a lot of noise/getting too fussy because I don’t want it to be a negative experience. I can even clip her nails! She does need to be wrapped in a towel though. And I have so far been unable to clip her back feet haha but my point with all this is that she is VERY non combative and very sweet and loving so I don’t think she would fight another cat. But I almost worry about her being intimidated or bullied because she is so docile? I was thinking maybe a male kitten would be best? Opposite sex and a baby so less intimidating?

The pecking order thing makes a lot of sense though!
It’s really true.. cats and chickens are pretty similar.. she sounds pretty chill.. maybe if there is a way to find someone with kittens that you could bring one over and see how she reacts...
Is she part Ragdoll by any chance? Ragdolls are very docile too..

That’s a good idea!! Thank you!! I’ll try that haha

And not that I know of haha got her as a slightly older kitten (like 16 weeks) from a pet store and I think they said she was a DMH or maybe DLH idk.
