Thank you! Surprisingly, yes. Merlin and Athena have gotten into a few minor fights, and sometimes they do chase Nova a little bit just to pick on her, but for the most part, they get along really well, even sleeping right next to each other. You have very beautiful kitties.Do they all get along?
Your Athena sounds and looks like the twin of my Stinky kitty.![]()
This is such a lovely thread! Everyone's animals are so cute!
I have three kitties myself. These are very old pictures, but they're the best I have right now, as my camera is broken.

This is Athena. He is much bigger now, though. He has eight toes on each front paw, and six on the back!
Yes, he is a male. Thought he was a girl when we got him, turns out not. He's my sisters cat, and she just decided to keep his name since he already knew it.
He come when called, and I swear he is part dog. He also stands under the hose when we're watering plants, and he hangs out with the chickens with me.
Though he doesn't bother the chickens, he is quite the hunter. I've rescued a number of birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and mice/voles/moles from him, some make it, some not. I even rescued a baby squirrel from him, and said squirrel is actually alive and healthy, last I heard from the rescue lady we gave him to.
He is a year and a half old, and well...not quite sure what his breed is. His mother is a short-hair mackerel tabby, and father is either a black Maine Coon or dark mackerel tabby short-hair mix. I don't know. Two of his siblings, sister and brother, are short-hair mackerel tabbys, one brother is a medium-long-haired regular tabby, and his other sister is a black long-haired Maine coon type cat. He is the only one with the swirling tabby marks, so it leads me to believe there may be more then one father.

This is Merlin, my almost 7 year old black short-hair mix. Not quite sure of his exact breed, to be honest. My step-brother rescued him from a hoarding situation with so many different cats in the house, so anything is possible. He did say that he mother was a smoky-black long-hair, and his siblings were a mix of gray, black and there was a random orange tabby in there, though I don't believe the orange kitten was actually related to Merlin at all.
He was a city cat when he lived with my step-brother. Terrified of the outdoors, and weighed almost 21 pounds.
Well that changed when he came here. He was put on a grain-free diet, and is now a indoor-outdoor kitty, and weighs only 15 pounds!

Now, this girl is my special kitty. This is Nova my little soul-mate-kitty.
She is a year and a half old, a month older then Athena. I believe she may have a form of anxiety or something, or maybe she's just a skittish cat, because she is terrified of so many things.
But, I love her anyway. I was told she was a Russian Blue/Siamese mix, but I dunno. I never saw her parents or siblings, and she does not look like either of those breeds. She's tiny, and doesn't have any characteristics of said breeds. But I don't really care what breed she is.

Sorry for the bad and old pics, I will try to get knew ones, but I can't promise anything.

Well I can tell them apart anyway without the whiskers because Spooky looks like a tuxedo catThey are a nice pair. It's nice they have different colored whiskers so it's easy to tell them apart.I had a black kitty named Spooky many years ago too.
I'm starting to think my Stinky kitty needs a kitty friend. Maybe she would stop wrestling with the dog?![]()
