Do you hunt your Boykin?

My husband will, yes... we got him last year so he was too young yet then.. this duck season will be his first.. here’s hoping he’s a good one .. we have always had Labs so this a different training style for sure!

Aww good luck!! I think I remember reading a while back you were having some challenges or troubles with training him? Did things ever get better? Or maybe it wasn’t you? He is very handsome.

Thank you! And yes, probably me .. I think he was just too young..seems like he might do well.. he knows some things but hubs hasn’t gotten into the heavy duty hunt training yet.. and he really LOVES retrieving! And he is OBSESSED with hubs so I think he’ll please... thanks for asking...

Oh gosh yes!! I just couldn’t do another Lab!!! I think I am probably the only person on earth who REALLY DISLIKES Labs... I thought “hates” sounded too harsh ... I will say this.. I don’t think there is a more loyal dog than a lab though...
