Yeah, I wish more people would research animals before getting them. even something “simple” like goldfish, bettas, budgies, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc.

Yeah it really does!! And then the animals suffer for it. so many people keeping fish in tiny bowls and cups or guinea pigs in tiny little boxes, etc. it’s sad. then they either die or the kid loses interest and they get rid of it or whatever. Too many people view the pocket pets as disposable too.

Wilson... our one-eyed lab/hound mix rescue. He is the sweetest, most chill beast.

Luna Bella.. another rescue. She’s got 27 toes... maybe 28, but she’s super flighty and doesn’t relax when I’m trying to count digits.

Elwood Blues.... former barn kitten.. silly, very affectionate spaz.

Wilson and Elwood... proof of Wilson’s superb chillness. (He’s afraid of Luna)

And the chicks we’re getting on the 17th... black Jersey Giants... so maybe we do have a theme

I love the yellow gold eyes on Elwood. Wilson is such a good boy.
