Kitty and Dog Thread, Show Me What You Got, other critters welcome too

I love boxers. Our current one is 8 this year. They live such short, but joyous lives. I hope mine sticks around longer too. She's going in for a dental tomorrow. Her gums are growing over her teeth again. Something I have had to deal with with all 3 of the boxers I have owned.

Your kitty is adorable. Do your boxers get along with her? My current boxer Rosie likes to mangle kitties, so she's gotta be watched.

Truman lived an incredibly long life. He was adorable.

My dogs do not like the cat and she isn't fond of them. We unfortunately, have to keep the house split between them.
She gets the master suite and they get the rest of the house. When the dogs are out she gets the whole house.
When they are outside I have to monitor the chickens. They think chickens (esp. Roosters) are chew toys also.

Thank you! The goldies are actually growing ... but the bigger ones are maybe two inches!

Boxers can be terrible that way. They have a higher prey drive unfortunately.

I agree. They are so sweet with grandchildren. We tried to train them but they just do not do well with cats or chickens.
We actually Have chickens because of the boxers. Lol. My husband loves boxers so a few years ago he decided he needed ONE. He bought Sadie (no longer with us) about a year later we got Dexter. My husband decided "they " needed more room to run so we bought a place in the country. Sadie died and along came Ruby. Ruby was not meant to live anywhere with neighbors, she is a Barker. So we bought 5 grown hens and built a house in the country. The flock grew and I was up to 47. I rehomed a couple of dozen and somehow I'm back up to 24.
All the fault of the dogs! It's a nice place to live though. We love the wildlife here.

My bigger ones got to 8-10 inches long. I've been slowly losing my original batch of 6 that I got back in 2003. I have 1 remaining now. I have a total of 11 single tailed goldfish, and 13 fancy types of various varieties.
