Knocking water cup so it will overflow

I have one smart girl, who is teaching my other girls, that if she knocks the watercup (or pipe) with her beak, then the cup will overflow, and water will drip off the cup bottom. This is how she prefers to drink- from the bottom drips.

Is she simply bored, or could there be a legitimate reason for her wacky behavior? I clean the cups regularly and it does not matter to her.

Chickens like drippy water, stagnant water, water in mud puddles, etc. Not sure how to secure those cups to prevent it, but since she seems to like it like that she'll continue to drink "her way" as long as she can get away with it.
