Know Of Any Good Locally Run Hamburger Joints?

We have a lil place called Burger Express here it's off 81 (exit 80) in Va Ft.Chiswell.great burger's Real fries and good shake's.I like the BBQ's and they have lot's of other classic rest. fast food like hotdog's nacho's they have some good food.

It is so good to hear that there are some good burger places out there. The big fast food franchises really make cr@ppy burgers. I would love to go on a road trip just to try all these places but I would have to pack some exercises equipment.

I just went by the other day when I was in the Bay Area and forgot to check if it's still there.
Someone from Hayward or Castro Valley please tell me that Val's is still there.
Everything there is awesome. Everything you would want on your burger is on your table and you build it yourself.

Melvin's in Elizabethtown - the original one! The chain version is not as good, unfortunately. Also, Cain's in White Oak, NC.

I've not been here but a friend of mine sent me their web page, it's called Heart Attack Grill. They are in Orlando, FL and also in Chandler, AZ. Some day I might try it. But then again when their menu offers a Double Bypass burger...I just don't know.

Deb1, before Cook Out there was Char-Grill in Raleigh. The first one I ate at, back when I was a teen in the '80s, was the one on Hillsborough St.

If you ever get to Raleigh, check 'em out!
