For which I am extremely grateful... and I hope Roostie can be as well for a long time! Would there be any point in attempting to resume treatment with the enrofloxacin... I can’t find my prepaid CC to do the online shopping, and will need to get another one purchased, hopefully tomorrow, 100sq feet of space and I can’t find what I need 90% of the time! It’s really amazing sometimes
Sorry I was asleep when you posted this. To be frank, without a culture result, I don't know what bacteria is causing the infection. It can't really hurt to keep him on it but it does not seem to be resolving the problem. I am deducing that based upon the physical evidence and the typical bacteria involved in bumblefoot that the enrofloxacin is not treating the infection. That is the best I can do right now.

While I'm not great at chicken biology I do know bugs and drugs.

We used to call the microbiologists the 'bug guys'.
They would advise and test our equipment designs for whether it would hinder or harbor the bugs.
