Kytrader - Just wanted to say those are some really pretty birds you have. You shouldn't have too much trouble rehoming them.

Glad to see there are some other Chickoholics here in Kentucky. I don't have any chickens yet, but have looked at several of the hatcheries websites and ordered several catalogues to review and see what I want to order. Unfortunately, being in Louisville, we are limited to 4 non-crowing birds and 1 crowing bird. However I don't need a rooster so will just be looking for pullets to raise for the time being.

However, first I have to finish the new racing loft, then build the coop and run for the chicks. Luckily I do have some basic

carpentry skills! (And the tools too)

By the way, anyone planning to attend the North American Livestock show this week at the State Fairgrounds? Runs from 11/8 - 11/15.

Hey FRChuckW, come down to Shepherdsville early on Sat mornings and go to the stock yard.... they always have chickens....

Take 65S to the second Shepherdsville exit towards the east and it will deadend at the stock yard
