I will try and make it and bring some Jersey Giant chicks.....
anyone want to swap for some bantam cochins. That is what I am looking for.
 
get off at the lexington paris exit (not sure of exit number) go to paris. after you pass sonic and a thorntons there are two lights take a left at the second light. now you are on the bypass. go all the way around to the end and you will have to go left or right and go left then look left there will be a parking lot full.

Hey all, still have 20+ RIR laying hens for sale. $10 each. Have some mixed hens too, same price.

Also have at least 10 mixed breed POL LF pullets. 3 are buff orps, 3 are buff orp mixed, 1 SLW pure, and a few others that are mixed with RIR, light brahma, and/or white rock.

Also have some RIR, white rock, and mixed roos and cockerels. $8 each, all LF.

Also have some bantam POL pullets $5 each. Bantam cockerels $3 each. All are mixed breed. Have a few cockerels and POL pullets that are pure dutch, $5 for cockerels, $7 for POL pullets.

Also have some 'almost pure' beagle pups for sale. Mama is pure, daddy is 75%. $15 each, 1 male, 3 female.

Just got the flyer from them today! The auction is in Casey Co./Liberty KY.

Date: March 28, 2009
Time: 9:00 a.m. EST
Location: 7 miles south of Liberty, KY on U.S. 127 at KY 910-501 junction

Commission: minimum-$1; $7-$100: 15%; $101-$300: 10%; $301 and over: 6%; maximum per item: $150.

Birds and small animals should be sold with cages!!!

Health certificates are required on all livestock before unloading, excluding in-state fowl. All horses require negative coggins test & health (CVI) papers.

No guns will be sold, no dogs or cats.

Some animals auctioned are:

(1) 4-year-old thoroughbred filly broke to ride and drive, (1) 3-year-old filly broke to ride and drive, (1) 2-year-old thoroughbred broke to ride and drive. All fillies are imprinted at birth and no spooks, biters kickers. (3) mares bred to 17.2 hand stallion.

These are just the things the know will be there, there will be many, many more things to bid on!! I went last year, and the only thing I had time for was the poultry/small animal auction. That part went from 9 a.m. to at least 5 p.m. (when I left) with 2 rings going all day. There were still more to be sold when I left at 5

This is an auction held by the Amish community in the Liberty area. It is only held twice a year.

Kind of but not really HAHA! Keeping Seramas and Silkies and switching to peafowl and Ducks and Geese! I have toooo many breeds of chickens!
