ya,,was on my way to the swap in frankfort,seen that storm headed my was so changed my mine and headed back to lex,glad i did,

We waited until 8:30 to leave and it was nice, cool an breezy when we got there. We had the best day at the swap EVER!!

Kelly got a quail to be a friend to her female Texas A&M, she got a seabright (she has always wanted one!) she got a barred rock pullet (the only color we were missing in our laying birds) and a pair of young D'Uccles that are unrelated to her birds.

When we got there our friend Junior handed us a pair of kittens for free to take home to the kids. Who can refuse sweet tame kittens? We brought home the cutest baby rabbit too and then before we left, we were talking to Junior about his really big tame Tom turkey. He said that we could have it, so we got a FREE TURKEY! He is soooo coool and HUGE!!!

I have some sex links (the guy that i got them from said this is what they are) that I woul like to get rid of before they start laying. I don't want them mixing with my silkies. If you guys don't believe that they are sexlink please inform me other whise. I also was told they are all pullets. I figure by now (12-14 weeks) I should be able to tell.
