Up for sale Cuckoo Marans pullets and roos clean legged type. I have 30 or so pullets and 20 roos to sale. These ladies and guys have been well taken care of, free ranging since Jan. fed a mix of pellets, scratch grains, live mealworms and fresh sprouts. They should be about a month or so from laying. These are hatchery birds hatched Oct. 23 08 They should lay nice med. dark brown egg. No guarantees on that. Dont expect the black eggs that you find on e-bay for $225 for 6 + shipping. Pullets $20 each, Roo's $10. This is the "Family Price"
Cash and Carry. Thought i would put this here before i went to craigslist tonight. Hollar if your a wantin. Im 5 mile's off I-64 in Mount Sterling. No long trip down some one lane gravel road in the middle of nowhere , where you cant get there from here

Update on my marans the are laying as in "now". first egg today not a monster but its pretty dark at lest a 4. Forgive the sad quaility photo!

That is pretty dark! It looks like a nice egg to me.

What color eggs are the chicks hatching from? Are they as dark as that one?

I don't know why this thread got moved, the other state's that have state sections are still in the chicken and chicks forum. I pmed a mod to see if they could move it back, but obviously they decided not to.

Anyway, I've got a BSL hen for sale.....Asking 10.00$. She lays EVERY day. Lays big, rich, and nicely colored eggs. Shes actually pretty........for a BSL.....
