For sale - one three-month-old Buff Orpington rooster (he's already crowing) and one five-month-old Light Brahma rooster (also crowing). They're in Shelbyville, Ky.

It's $8 for each rooster. These are gorgeous, docile birds and would make excellent breeding stock for your flock.

I have attached a couple of photos of my Light Brahma rooster (there are two in the photo, but I am keeping one of them. you can have your pick of either.)

I don't have an updated photo of my Buff Orpington rooster, but I hatched him myself at our farm and so I've attached a photo of his father so that you can see the gorgeous rooster that he'll grow into. Right now the Buff Orpington is still young, at three months old exactly, so he's not yet full-sized.

Thanks to my dog, I'm now in need of a black-tailed white japanese rooster. I have only one hen left, and some chicks that all look like pullets from what I can tell. So add this to the ever-increasing list of roosters that I need.

OEGB in black, blue or splash (prefer blue or splash)
Dutch in black, blue or splash (again, blue or splash preferred)
Bantam cochin in partridge
Black-tailed white japanese

Thanks

Dog? Dog??? What dog?!?

Don't worry, she's not a problem anymore....

She somehow pulled her head out of her collar and killed at least 16 birds. There are still a few that I haven't found, so they're probably dead too. Of course these were all birds that hung out in the yard, so it's looking a little bare around here now.

I lost my bantam Dark Brahmas that way. It makes you hurt deep inside. I would like to help you reestablish your flock but all I have is mutts and the pair of barred rock Bantams.

The little barred rock hen has only started laying eggs and lays an egg every third day or so. I don't even know if she is producing fertilized eggs or not.

Oh wait... I do have some pure bred Dark Cornish but they haven't started laying yet. One has but they are small eggs.

I hope to make your chicken stock and can bring some eggs then. If not I will mail you some provided you would care to have them.
