The two top pictures are males and the five bottom pictures are females. In the males YES they are pretty aggressive towards people [IMG] and each other. I had to separate the two males last weekend.

I only have 1 male that survived all our predator attacks (major hawks and foxes in the daytime!) The one I have is very nice behavior-wise too thankfully, and not aggressive at all, but.... unfortunately he doesn't have a great comb like those 2 you picked for breeding. He's got a big weird fleshy piece that sticks out on one side below the horn, so definitely not breeding-material. Oh well, they were a fun breed for me to try out just for fun (I had only ordered 6 straight run).

I have 3 males, none have been aggresive. They are not exceptionally freindly but not flighty either. But they do look good

The aggressiveness was my experience, too! [IMG] The last straw was getting BRUISED & BLOODIED calves when I went in to the run to fill up the waterer. [IMG]

I have to watch the two males when I go into their pen but over all I am very happy with my La Fleche. [IMG] They are about 6 months old and out of my 5 girls I am starting to get 3 to 4 eggs a day now. [IMG]

So I haven't been here in a looong time, but during my absence I always always thinking, "I wonder how those La Fleche are doing.." Seeing as how my own birds are mature, who some are the same age as yours. . .

Great lookin prospects you got there! [IMG]
