Honestly when I have production running again, La Fleche are on my list of decisions for another breed to add to the flock. Again like many though the big thing holding me back is color. I'm really quite tired of black, or blue, or splash, or white. . . Too much of that in my flock. Well, not white, but I'm not a fan of white except on certain breeds.
Although the OP had aggressive males, I'm honestly not surprised. Hatcheries are quite prone to carelessly yet unintentionally breeding that, especially in rare breeds with little demand. I myself would not go with hatcheries unless I had absolutely no choice.
