Labored breathing, mucus, not eating for 2 days.. please help!

Then he should improve with deworming.
I hope so. Maybe it's just wishful thinking but tonight I thought I heard less blockage. He's still gaping and not eating but I'm not hearing so much of the "popcorn sound" I heard on Friday. If he wants to start eating again, should I give him fermented or wet feed free choice or slowly introduce it back into his diet?

It looks like my pullet is starting to display similar symptoms :( she was eating this morning but by mid morning, she was hiding in the corner when others came out to eat. I heard similar "bubbling" noise and sneezing. I started giving them Fenbendazole yesterday so hopefully she won't get affected as much. I thought about quarantining her too but she still seems very lively and flew out of her box and was being very vocal so I put her back outside and am going to keep a close eye on her.

Do you have any antibiotics on hand?

Sounds like you are dealing with respiratory illness instead of Gapeworm if the pullet is now becoming symptomatic.

You mention the new birds smelled bad - did you ever inspect them to see if they had mucous, coughing, swelling around the face/eyes?

How much ventilation is in the coop?

He may have respiratory illness from the new birds - hard to know which illness since there are several. Some are bacterial, others are viral.

If it's MG, then treating symptoms with an antibiotic like Tylosin/Tylan may be helpful.

I don't... would Tractor Supply have any? Should I treat for worms and give them antibiotics at the same time? Would I have seen improvements by now if it was gapeworm?

You can treat with antibiotics and deworm at the same time.

TSC may have some Tylan50, it can be hit/miss with what you find in the store and it depends on what state you live in. Check online, if your store has any and you can order it for pickup, then I snatch it up.

It looks like the closest TSC near me does have it. They close in 40 minutes. I'm going to run out to get some now. He's sleeping now but should I dose him when I get back? He hasn't been eating since Thursday. I'm so worried he might not make it. :/

I would dose him when you get back.

Tylan 50 dose is 0.25ml per pound of weight given orally 3 times a day for 5 days.

I'm so sorry he's not improving:( I hope he makes it.
So I got the bottle only to find out that I don't have the needle to withdraw the medicine :barnie
