Lacey is back for round two 😔 - Reproductive issues

As far as I can tell, her crop is emptying properly. I'll remove food and water tonight and check in the morning.

She is continuing to act dopey. Puffed up at times, watery poops in the crate with white urates draining from her vent. Since I haven't seen any normal poops, I am worried about a blockage of some sort, possible Egg Yolk Peritonitis, though I have very little experience with that so don't feel like I can make an accurate diagnosis.
Hoping the members I tagged will join in soon.
Do check her crop in the morning.
How old is she?
Could it be vent gleet? Could you get some pics of her messy bottom?
Keep giving her the calcium.
I think internally laying and EYP are the same thing.
I'll tag @Eggcessive also.

I did when I soaked her, but she had access to food and water at that time. It was soft and slightly full. She's not eating a ton, but she's eating, so thats good. I might make her a soupy mash, i haven't seen her drink much water which is concerning.
She's about a year old.
I don't think so, i think its a reproductive issue. Why? Because I haven't gotten any eggs since i found her, distended abdomen, puffed up, poor appetite and obviously uncomfortable.
I plan to continue give 1/2 tablet, shes only about a pound, of Calcium Citrate daily. Along with Oil of Oregano which is commonly used in the organic poultry industry and egg industry instead of antibiotics, plus Olive Leaf Extract capsules.

Just added all the pics from this morning to the initial post.
Well its not vent gleet, that was just a thought. Her abdomen does not look bloated in the pic. I'm not quite sure what's wrong, hopefully the experts will chime in soon.

Unfortunately, once a hen has had a vent prolapse, the chances are high that it will happen again. And again.

She may have a couple more years, but she will have this happen periodically, and you will be treating her each time. Eventually, she will likely reach the end where nothing will fix it. Then you will face the decision to euthanize her. Or you can decide to euthanize now because she will likely never return to normal.

Darn, poor baby.
I’m going to treat her. Even if she’s going to be problematic, she’s going to be with me for as long as she can. I’m going to restrict her light after this to get her to stop laying for a bit. Maybe even look into hormone injections, even if they only relives her short term.

Fit treatment measures, does it sound like I’m on the right track? I read your article again and can’t think of anything else to do. I am going to try a homeopathic remedy that is used to expelled foreign objects, it was recommended to me by a couple people, we’ll see if that helps.
Otherwise, heating pad, calcium, Oil of Oregano, monitor water and food intake. That seems to be the protocol for now.

Yeah, that's what I usually do. As long as a hen doesn't give up, I won't either.
Got it. She’s still fighting gif now. She’s eating, and I saw her drinking this afternoon. She’s picking at some forage today. She’s not as high spirited as last time, but she’s still plugging along. Ate some berries today. I’ll update as we go, you can do this Lacey, here we go again.

I think I’m going to treat her. I understand where your coming from, but I think I’ll do what I can to keep her with me for as long as possible before going that route.
If it gets to a point where I can’t manage it anymore than I will, but for now we’re going to keep plugging along. She’s a fighter this one.
