Ladies (and newly found gentleman) got an Upgrade!!

So this is the coop before we put all the goodies inside and finished the top. (Just using as a reference to where they will be housed) View attachment 1981785Again this was before!! I haven’t gotten an updated photo yet!

The area we are in is the “urban” area... so we have hawks, raccoons, squirrels, snakes, cats and a few possums. I’ve looked into hardware mesh but honestly until now I didn’t really think it was much different than chicken wire so thank you!!

Yeah you definitely want hardware cloth.
Our only predators are hawks, owls and skunks.
But we use the hardware cloth because you never know who’s going to come check out the neighborhood.
