Ladies, at what age

LOL

My dh has some graying going on around the temples etc. On him it looks sexy. My dad colored his hair til the day he had his stroke.
His mom has never dyed her hair and honestly? It looks terrible. But then again maybe if she took a trip to the salon and got it cut/styled it wouldnt look so bad?

I have always wondered why...
On men, gray hair is considered sexy and distinguished, on women, its just old!!!

LOL some of these replies are true and funny..I color my hair and just told my black/gray distinuished husband other day I will until I am ready to get old..I being almost 61 not ready yet..ready for SS check but that is it ..I will probaly be coloring in Nursing Home..I was once told when older blond like hair makes you look younger and blends in good with the gray tried it but like darker better although look like a skunk if don't color in time with the white streek going down the center..

Oh, I'm not worried about it, I'm just lazy about it.

There is a BIG difference between your completely white, beautiful hair and the salt & pepper stuff on my head. I want hair like yours!

At 55 I have very little grey (temple area only). My hair was cotton white as a child and has gotten darker w/ every year. Two weeks ago, I colored my for the first time, my son came home and asked if I had lost weight..said I looked good.

We were in the store, last week and saw two of the ladies we went to school with---both very grey and one looked beautiful and the other looked very old.. Not sure if it was the color or their cut!!!!

I'll color mine until I am tired of it...then I will pay someone to do it right. One of my siisters dyes her hair and it's black --I mean shoe polish black..... She looks very old... My youngest sister has let her hair go natural for the first time in 40yrs....she is completely grey and looks good....

So who knows what's right for the next person...but for me I will add a little 'Dark blonde' to this head for a while....Dixie

I'll be 35 this year and have no grey or wrinkles. Don't hate me because I shun the sunlight (hhhiiiissssss)

I noticed this recently while at a friend's son's 2nd b-day party. All the mom's had grey hair & wrinkles. then I put 2+2 and realized that motherhood causes both.

I have had a white streak since I was a child. Discoveed it when I was 15 and it was already long. My grandmother had & my brother has one, too. It's not a sexy white streak, though, and it's in a weird spot.
