The brothers walked among the children, looking deep into their eyes. "I choose the wolf pup." Kenai said. "There is a darkness in him that I can train well."

Hellus chose the fox pup, Ranik chose the bear cub, Jakis chose the eaglet, and Adaris chose the owlet.

(Let's just say that there are only 5 brothers...)

"I'll have the eaglet." The wolf said firmly. "You may have the falcon."

They entered a room, where the wolf was waiting. It began chanting an ancient spell, and black smoke began to wisp around the back's of the young creatures who didn't have wings.

The wolf pup gazed at his shadow in amazement. He flexed his black wings, a dark pride filling his heart.

The eaglet smirked at the pups amazement, they would get used to it after awhile.

The fox pup and bear cub smiled as they looked at each others wings. The fox with her red-tinted wings, and the bear with her brown ones.
