Kate unsheathed her claws "Coward!" She spat.

Quick as a bullet, the creature shot out of the back, right at Kate. The force was enough to knock her back several feet, the dark energy pulling off flesh as it tore free. The little that clung oonto her paws crystalized instantly. The creature's body appeared to be made entirely of smoke in the shape of a wolf, with red glowing orbs for eyes.

Kate cried out in pain as she hit the far wall, crumpling to a dazed heap. She shook her head furiously to clear it and rose rather ungracefully to her paws. With her mind, she tested out his powers, feeling them out.

The creature just stood there, waiting for Kate's next move.

Kate merely stood there, her eyes narrowed slightly in concentration. Behind the creature, something begun to sizzle as Jack's paws melted the stuff that held his paws while Kate weakened the creatures power. "Go!" She hissed as soon as Jack was free "Warn the team!"

Jack pelted for the exit, his paws steaming as he disappeared from view.

Kovi and his pack accidentally ran into Mitar, "Mitar! You have to warn Kate's team! Gina has turned dark!" Kovi gasped.

"Oh NO!" Mitar's heart sank, "Come with me!" He lead the way to where he had last seen Kate's team.

The creature slashed 2 large and deep scratches in Kate's neck.

Snarling, Kate jerked back at the last second. The creatures claws sliced through her neck, but not deep enough to do a lot of damage. She leaped nimbly to the side, her tail lashing from side the side.
