2 large figures punched her from behind, throwing her to the ground.

The smokewolf wasn't far, and perked his ears around. "Children come." It ordered.

Jack slipped from the chains that held him and into Reid's paws. Reid, being young and strong, supported Jack into the wall and back underneath the way he came. Once outside the prison walls, they remained under the snow to keep hidden.

Sara rolled forwards, landing neatly on her feet a few feet away. "You know I speak the truth" She hissed "And it makes you angry"

But the chains and cuffs were firmly locked.

(He isn't using the Smokewolf's power, his is similar, but not the same thing. His power also allows him to sense the whereabouts of life forms, so he could sense where Jack was while entering the prison)

The smokewolf looked down at the hole, smiling devilishly.

"Why are you happy that the rebel escaped?" Nyra asked.

"Everything's all falling into place." The wolf replied darkly. "What, do you honestly think I'd put him in such a vulnerable cell? A mere seal could escape from this garbage!"

"Huh?" Nyra, Otulissa, Arcturus, and Damek asked in unison.

"I put him here so that they could retrieve him. I'm letting them attack us, and then they will fall right into the claws of The Devourer."

(BTW this scene took place about 20 minutes after they had left, so technically no one will know about it)
