Excellent! Well done and thanks for posting photos as it will give other people ideas about making something similar. She looks really comfortable in it too!

It's a good idea to give her some time out of it and encourage her to walk on a surface with good traction.... no slippy floors..... Use treats to motivate her to move towards them or take her outside and encourage her to walk towards the pen where the others are by throwing scratch down next to and into the pen so that she feels like she is competing for it and the others see her and forage with her but can't bully her.

Edited to add.... even if she is struggling to stay upright and is using her wings to crawl, this is good physio for her as long as she keep trying. Don't leave her unsupervised outside though and if she is making no effort to walk or forage for the scratch don't continue.... the idea is to stimulate her to work for the treat. I have had success with this with birds that had the spirit to fight. They get depressed and stop trying if they don't have some chicken company occasionally and something to keep their spirits up.

Good luck with her and please keep us posted.

Hey I am happy to know she (July) is on a road of recovery. I tried next to the other chickens of course I was there to rescue her. Darn it! Next I bring her in so she can crawl in the sunroom. She hobbled over. So that works. She is still eating and drinking. Good sign. When its a warm day I will put her in front of her flock and watch her forage. Never dealt with this before. But I am learning. Just hope it's not a back fracture.
