If I had a wood ladder that would be better. Unfortunately all I have is sn old two piece ladder that's totally unsafe for humans. The birds can't really get a grip on it.That's a fancy ladder for your girls!

I used to drive to town on garbage day and pickup chicken usable ladders, tables, straw bale, pumpkins, leaves and whatnot.

After a while I had to quit dragging home junk
I now post that if people want to drop off Halloween pumpkins and bales. I still pick those up from repeat people who ask.
