Langshan egg pictures?!

View attachment 1981176 My langshan girl recently hatched another of her own eggs bred with a big blue easter egger rooster (she hatched the rooster in 2018 from an Americana eggs blue orp). This is the chick. Hoping for a pullet. It is 8 weeks now. Lucy, my hen looks pretty ragged and dull, she needs a molt. I love crossing her, her chicks are always big, beautiful, and healthy.

She's beautiful! From whom did you get your Langshan hen?

She came from a guy who had a big assortment of breeds that he raised to pullets. He bought from more that one hatchery so probably Ideal or Murray McMurray.

Lol. Mine lays well when she lays, but she spends most of her time hatching and raising chicks.
