Thanks for your guesses on my Chicks.I'll play guess the sex! I've got 19 BBS & W 6 week old Langshans that I am pretty sure who is who. There are just a few that I'm on the fence about. I need to set up a photo shoot before they get much bigger!
Here are my guesses for your chicks:
01 Penguin Girl
02 Shy Fly Boy
03 Pigeon Toe Girl
04 Nessie Girl
05 Jewel Boy (Sorry!)
06 Wight Band Boy
07 Sapphire Girl
08 Fluff Puff Boy

That's good to know! My chicks are out for recess right now. I'm going to go check out their wing bows. I have quite a few that hatched from eggs that you sent to Cheryl, Mikaela. I do have a question for you. We have 6 black cockerels that are 6 weeks old and very aggressive. We have 2 white cockerels who are also more aggressive than the blue and splash cockerels. Have you found this to be true with your birds?Just trying to be helpful. Look at your female in this picture. Compare her to the first photos of Penguin. See the wing bows on her bird? See how yours is covered in feathers?
Females of this breed seem to feather in much faster than males. Tails (especially in my line) don't even attempt to show up in my males until they are 8 or 9 months old.
OK Thanks!01 Penguin Boy

Here are my guesses. I was with Pet Rock except for the first one.
1. Penguin: Cockerel (gotta look at those wing bows. Bare wing bows is usually a flat out cockerel trait)
2. Shy Fly: Cockerel
3. Pigeon Toe: Pullet
4. Nessie: Pullet
5. Jewel: Definite Cockerel
6. Wing Band: Cockerel
7. Sapphire: Pullet
8. Fluff Puff: Cockerel
9. Bernice: Pullet
10. Pigeon: Pullet
