For some reason, my line will welcome any breed of any age into their area. Be it Silkie, bantam Cochin...they couldn't care less.

This is a six week old Langshan pullet. See the chick at her feet? That's a 2 day old Speckled Sussex bantam! Langshans are the only breed I've been able to mix at any age.

Can't get over just how beautiful she is looking.

Seeing your pictures I thought it was you. Pet Rock has 2 cockerels from my birds. I just love them but need them to get laying. I'm cutting way back on my birds but hope to keep the Langshan and a couple other breeds.

I showed one of the sons of your blue cock bird and got reserve breed. Jeff Halbach was the judge.

Now I just need to get myself some Blue.

I love the tail spread and body width/depth of the 2 boys that I have from you. I have a big black pullet from Mikaela's stock and I would love to see the chicks that would result from mating her to one of your boys! I haven't seen the boys for weeks but hope to get out to the farm this week or the next to check on them. They are living in a field that is a couple acres big and sleeping in a horse trailer coop. My friend is taking care of the boys and I have all of the girls here in town. I do still have 3 boys here in town. 2 are from Mikaela's line and 1 is from Meek's line (Skyline or Pawhead, not sure which). I love that they are late developers! Not a one of them has crowed yet and they are 25-27 weeks old.

My Langshans are the mildest mannered birds that I have. They don't pick on any of the other birds and just mind their own business. The boys have been very well mannered, also, but the longest that I have been able to keep them here in town is until they are around 27-28 weeks old.
