They came from Cindy Rasmussen in Wisconsin. I just love them. I'm waiting for the 5 younger ones to get out of the lanky teenager stage so I can get pictures of them too. They are also from Cindy.

Up to 10 eggs on my bantam Langshan auction!

All eggs gathered this weekend will be going to the winner! (Probably gonna wind up with 12-14! And will be shipped on Monday!

Hello all,

Took some photos today of my white pen. The cockerel is 11 months old..just starting to really fill out. Mongo is split to white and I really think he has made some major improvements over the full white birds. I have over 4 dozen eggs gathered from his pen. Hopefully I will have a good hatch of whites come from this.

There will be much more work to do before I am happy with my whites, but his tail width and feather quality seems a great improvement over the white females he is with and is from.

Please feel free to comment and yes, he does have some white tips in his tail! He will only be bred to white females...don't know what I'll do with him after I'm done! Possibly use him in another project that I've started on...

Just wanted to post some recent photos of my Blue Langshan, Bijou! She is almost as big as my Buff Brahma, Sasquatch. They are brooder mates from Privett Hatchery and are now around 42 weeks old.

Very nice petrock! I love her lacing and her back is very nice! You need a good male for her!! :D

I am debating selling a trio of birds. A young cockerel who thinks it's his job to fertilize everything even though, in my opinion, he is way too young to breed at all. A blue hen that is currently laying, but has no feathers on her legs. A black female, breeder quality and a white female, same quality. The black female has sparser than normal leg-feathering. The white doesn't have the type I'm after.

Have too many and I just don't need them any longer thanks to hatching! If interested, please let me know. I haven't decided on a price, but mileage may be factored in. The male is approximately 5 months, hens are 3 years.

I am really admiring these Langshans! I currently have Jerseys, but I have to admit that the Langshans do look classier, and I love the V shape of their back and tail.

I will have to work on some more pens!
