Pics
Boy #5 The last of the boys from Jim. This guy either has one midget wattle or it was pecked off by one of the other ones. It looks like I missed the back shot of this guy.

I am going to keep all of the girls that I can unless they develop some very obvious defect. I just wanted to share a couple pics of one of my favorite blue pullets.

I believe I've chosen my favorites from this group! I'd like to see what others have to say as well though!
How exciting! Thanks, Mikaela! I'm looking forward to seeing which ones you like! Of course, they probably aren't the ones that are the friendliest!

I'll post pics of the ones at the ranch early next week unless someones responds to the FB post and wants them!

I need to go review the standard. One of the faults with my line are the feathers on the middle toe. If bred to a female with light leg feathering, it would help in the offspring.

Tell those boys to stand at attention.

LOL!!! They were not very co-operative! The scary black box was going to get them! I noticed that quite a few of our birds have feathering on the middle toe so it's not just your stock.

Mikaela,
Will the length of back appear shorter when the tails are grown in better. That is one thing that struck me with Debi's pictures.

I like the leg length on male #1. I keep coming back to number 5 because of how wide he is at the base of the tail. I think this would result in a more open tail.

Still thinking.

Male #1 is about 4 weeks older than the other males. Does that make a difference on leg length? The other 4 boys are growing like crazy right now. Will their legs lengthen out? I need to try to get a pic with several of them together.
