Birdguy are you sure you had the right hatch date? There are some pretty chubby cheeks on that cute chick!

I have gotten caught up on the entries for the Foul Fowl contest. Justuschicks you had submitted a picture of a chick before you posted your pictures of the EE's. Which picture did you want to use?
SCG you had posted a picture of a NN bird before so I left that one in. I will believe that you are doine hatching after this when I see it.

I have to admit that it has been hard not to pop some eggs in the bator while you guys are hatching but then all I have to do is go outside and see how many I have and know that I have to get going on another coop before all the little ones finish growing out and I have to figure out where I am going to put the turkeys. Right now they are still in the brooder but they are growing fast and plotting escape. One almost got out on me yesterday.

Cute babies everyone!

....I set another 30 eggs from the Warden last night. So much for me being done hatching for the year.

The turkey eggs are due on the 30th, along with some SS x MFDuckle eggs. I hope the turkey chicks dont squash the teeny chicks

So much for being done for the year, is right! I just won an auction for dominique eggs. Should get them right about the time the current group is hatched and moved out of the bator. Don't think I'll mention it to my ever-supportive boyfriend.

Not today, oh no, not today.

I just set another 15 duck and 33 pheasant eggs. I have at least another dozen pheasant eggs on the way and it's time to raid the guineas' nest again.

I wish guineas and ducks didn't take so long, seems like forever!

I've had some other hatches but I can't remember what I've posted and what I've not. I know I have some more seramas and a silkie baby but couldn't say how many seramas

ETA: On the plus side, I don't think I'll be setting many more duck eggs. It seems like at least 2 of the remaining 5 ducks (those not broody) are going broody, possibly 3. 3 of the 4 already broody ducks lost their eggs, some to their stupidity (mostly) and some to a stupid dog running them off their nests. They probably won't start laying again for a few weeks. I know where 3 of the ducks were laying but I think all 3 are going broody on me. Another lays by the pond (just seems to drop them where she happens to be at the time) and I don't know where the other is laying. I have 9 ducks total (females), 4 were/still are broody and 3 either are already or are going broody.

A little. Right now I am bemoaning my stupid broodies. If they could jsut get their acts together, I wouldnt have to do all the work for them.
