I've been trying to hatch eggs from California white hen and RIR hen with Mille Fluer rooster. Most eggs start and then quit. Some fully develop but don't hatch. Had one of the RIR eggs pip and then quit. I've put in Mille Fluer eggs fertilized by the same rooster and those do great and hatch just fine. Is the problem mixing large breed with bantam?
