Large Fowl only crazy egg chain

ok well i have two blue orpington hens but no blue orpington rooster so i am using a blakc orpington rooster to breed the blue hens... sorry but it wont let me upload pics for some reason

That is not a project. When you breed Blue to Blue you get a a percetage of Blues, Blacks and Splashs. When you breed Black to Blue you will get 50% Blue and 50% Black offspring. That is the same cross we are doing this season.

Is your Black Orpington a new acquisition or do you have another Blue Orpington project too?

well i aquired some blue orp hens but i do not
have a rooster yet so i used a black and white
mottled lookign roo for breeding to the hens in
hopes of working back in to get a good looking
blue orpington roo from it so far from the
hatchings i have hatched black, white, black with
slight frizzle, chocolate and blue

yes i just aquired him a few days ago from a gentleman about a hour from my house that raised black giants, black orpingtons, and white langshan so the eggs will either be from the mottled roo i got rid of and the black orpington i am using now

I tried that too,.. I would claim the Orpington eggs but need a little more incentive..silkies would do it

my silkies are not laying at this time so i will throw in some japanese bantam eggs but that is the best i can do i cant send eggs that do not exsist thanks

To get this chain rolling again.. I will take the orpington project eggs and add some japanese bantam please.
