Large growth on heel / swelling / bumblefoot?

Hello all, first time poster, long time reader. I have a 6 month old pekin duck who has a very swollen heel pad, an avian vet prescribed me meloxicam and amoxicillin and they have not helped. I have tried PRID a few times and I have tried soaking in epsolm salt. I tried wrapping it with SSD ointment. I add nutritional yeast to food and I also add liquid vitamin B to water throughout the week. The bottom of her foot has a black scab which the vet said not to remove since it is more calloused skin and not to open a new wound to further infection. Duck walks fine, eats, poops, drinks, plays etc. Does not feel hot and does not seem to cause pain when I touch it. It is not solid hard, but not super soft either. Swelling seems to have gotten worse since I started the medication?? Thank you for your time.

Is your vet an avian vet? Because that is bumblefoot which is a staph infection and will not go away until the core of the infection is removed even with antibiotics as you are finding.

Yes the vet I went to was an avian vet, there does not appear to be a core.

You won't always find a core, but it must be... Never mind, Kiki beat me to it, lol!
