Large Mass found in a butchered hen

Hello, I am new to the forum, and looking to see if anyone has ever encountered the same thing (see pic). I knew she wasn't laying for awhile and I have new egg layers arriving today. So today I butchered her and another hen. I look forward to hearing what this may be. Appears to be an egg in the middle with multiple growth rings around it. I have large hands, so you can imagine how big this mass is.

It looks like a large lash egg to me, caused by infection in the reproductive system.

This looks like an enormous amount of lash egg material = accumulated yolk and pus.
