Oh okay well the next vet appointment at my local vet is not until next tuesday with the only avian vet we have, i know this because we just had to take our hen to the vet for bumblefoot .. my birds keep me on my toes thats for sure!

Okay, it is good vet care is an option, can you call them, maybe they suggest something until the appointment?

Sorry that I am not sure what the lesion is. I would not be in a hurry to put him down if he is eating and drinking. Could it have been an injury from a peck wound.
