I'm just wondering what the worlds largest chicken breed is. I've tried looking it up and it said Jersey giants are but the measurements it gave were smaller then what i've heard brahmas grow to. After looking into it a bit more i found that most sites said brahmas were because of the video that was released a few months ago but most of those were just claims from news websites without looking into what was actually the worlds largest chicken is. So if any of you know what it is could you please tell me thanks.

I am thinking about Malines. It's a Belgian chicken meat breed which is really famous for its quality meat (the rooster can easily reach 5 kg). But as far as I know, nowadays there are unfortunately few breeders of Malines, so it has become a quite rare breed!

if you go by average weight the black jersey giants are. The brahmas aren't far off and are bit fluffier so it can give them the appearance of being bigger than they really are. Then of course theirs always random odd balls that can be alot bigger or smaller than average so theirs gonna be some brahmas that are bigger than gaints. I do believe brahma is current record holder for single biggest chicken tho. Malays on average are the tallest breed of chicken.
