No racoon in the traps today. Marshmallows are still where we put them, so we're thinking that he just didn't come by last night. Traps will stay set since last time, I don't think we had more than one night breaks

She has so many she's stolen. The other 3 only have like 4 chicks now between them, and I think those 4 are all Effie's chicks actually

Marshmallows are still where we put them

We've had good luck using marshmallows for coons also. Sometimes they lay there a couple nights and we get nothing but know one's around. We will switch to can mackerel. It's a smelly oily fish that coons (and cats) love. If you don't get your coon after a bit you may want to give it a try. Coons can be a pain!

We considered some tuna or canned chicken, but don't want the chickens to consider the bait. For whatever reason, they steer clear if the marshmallows.

These ducklings have no fear. One I'm pretty sure is somewhat imprinted on me, it will come over to me, away from the others. They got out this morning and were running around with the others. We think one of the scovies was snagged, I'm only counting 6 and then the 8 Swedish. It was one of my head spotted ones.
