Uhm.... da cluck is this thing?! It's half araucana, but my naked neck male (Johnny Law) is long gone and I think it has feather legs (I'll have to double check it later). It hatched under the brahma, but given her track record and the age of the other eggs, I gave this one to One Leg to care for since her chicks are all still close in size

Hidden recessives?

Yep, feathered legs.

Brahma hatched out another baby today. Not. Anaked neck, but looks like it came out of another blue egg. Johnny Law had one naked gene, so that could still be his chick.

I'll try to seperate Brahma and any other chicks she hatches before I leave and give Weirdo any eggs that are staggered from the hatching ones in that nest.

For the possible legs, I can see, but naked neck is dominant.

Its grandfather and great grandfather have feathered legs, and I suppose I can buy the naked neck on the father hiding the feathering on his legs enough that I didn't notice them.
I want to add on to this too, I got Johnny Law when he was like 8+ week, so after he was done growing feathers. This chick has down now, so those down feathers might be way more visible than normal feathers would be on a grown naked neck
