It's sad, but she was so old, we're expecting another die off honestly with the older birds. We have several that are past the average lifespan now

Yeah. I was pretty bummed when I saw she had separated from the flock that first night

On the bright side though, at least for now, the only bird on my watch list is Weirdo. She still has the dead parts of her feet and leg, but she's walking around enough that at least for now I know she can do it. Still have to wait for her to lose them though before I can tell for good.

Moved Moose and his girls to another pen, it thawed over the weekend a good deal so their pen was super muddy and I didn't want them standing in mud for a while. Moose was very excited.

I need to grab my mystery white bird. I'll probably try to do that tonight if I can reach her. I know that the male's have started breeding, so I need to empty her out so she's ready to go when I can breed ber.
